Smoky Lake Great White North Pumpkin Fair

The Smoky Lake Great White North Pumpkin Fair will take place from October 2 to October 3, 2026, welcoming visitors to the community known as the Pumpkin Capital of Alberta for a festive fall celebration.

This signature event brings together a full weekend of harvest-themed activities, entertainment, and family-friendly fun. One of the main highlights is the Great White North Pumpkin Weigh-Off, where growers from across the region bring their massive pumpkins, squash, and gourds to compete for top honours.

Throughout the weekend, visitors can enjoy a variety of activities including a farmers’ market, artisan vendors, food trucks, live entertainment, a car show, corn maze, and midway rides.
