Vegreville Parade

The Vegreville Agricultural Society is inviting the community to celebrate local agriculture during the 2026 Country Fair Parade on Wednesday, August 5. This year’s parade theme, “Thank a Farmer,” is a tribute to the hardworking individuals who keep communities fed and agriculture thriving. Participants are encouraged to get creative with their floats and entries, showcasing the people, equipment, animals, and traditions that make agriculture such an important part of the region. The parade begins at 11:00 a.m., with lineup starting at 9:00 a.m. Entries will be judged between 10:15 a.m. and 10:45 a.m., so all participants should be assembled and ready before judging begins. Please note that candy and other handouts must not be thrown from moving parade units. Participants are welcome to distribute treats while walking alongside their entry. Following the parade, everyone is invited to the Vegreville Social Centre for refreshments, light snacks, and the parade award presentations beginning at 12:45 p.m. Whether participating or cheering from the sidelines, it’s a great opportunity to come together and show appreciation for the farmers who help keep our communities strong.
