Smoky Lake Stampede

The Smoky Lake Stampede is set to return for another exciting year, bringing the community together for a weekend of western tradition, entertainment, and family-friendly fun.
Taking place on August 1 & 2, 2026, the Stampede will feature two full days of rodeo action, including an LRA-sanctioned rodeo and the ever-popular Sunday Slack. Attendees can also look forward to live music and dance hosted by the Kinettes, a vibrant atmosphere, and a fireworks display to close out the celebrations.
This annual event continues to be a highlight for Smoky Lake and the surrounding region, offering something for all ages while celebrating rural roots, community spirit, and western heritage.
