Lac La Biche Ladies Curling bonspiel event

The Lac La Biche Curling Club is inviting curlers to step onto the ice for a unique and enchanting event this March. Once Upon a Bonspiel, a ladies-only curling tournament with a “Magic on Ice” theme, will take place on March 13–14, 2026 at the Bold Centre in Lac La Biche.

Designed as a fun and welcoming gathering for women who enjoy the sport of curling, the bonspiel blends friendly competition with a whimsical, storybook-inspired atmosphere. Teams can expect a weekend filled with curling, camaraderie, and creative costumes as the magic theme comes to life on the ice.

The event is limited to 12 teams, creating an intimate and engaging environment where participants can connect with fellow curlers while enjoying a spirited tournament format. With the ice set and the stones ready, players are encouraged to gather their teammates and prepare for a memorable curling experience.

The entry fee is $240 per team, and spots are expected to fill quickly. Teams interested in participating can register by contacting Brenda at 780-689-8135.
