Christmas Festival / Festival de Noël

The Plamondon & District Agricultural Society’s Christmas Festival takes place on Saturday, December 5, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Plamondon Festival Centre.

Visitors can browse the Christmas Vendor Market, explore the holiday-themed bench show and enjoy seasonal activities. In place of an admission fee, donations of cash or non-perishable food items will be gratefully accepted for the Plamondon Food Hampers.

Photos with Santa will be available from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for $10 per sitting. Time slots can be booked by calling 780-404-5806. Cookie decorating runs from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The bench show will be open throughout the festival, with prizes presented at 3:00 p.m. Entries will be accepted on Friday, December 4, from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m., with one item permitted per person, per category. Spaces are limited.

The seasonal celebrations also include a Christmas Light Up Competition for Plamondon residents. In-town residents do not need to register, while rural residents within five kilometres of town can register by calling 780-404-5806. Cash prizes will be awarded in both categories.
