An intimate show in the beautiful natural surroundings of Sir Winston Churchill Provincial Park at the Campground Amphitheatre nestled in Loop C of the Campground Area. Justin will kick-off the summer season of 'Music in the Forest' on the May Long weekend on a Saturday afternoon and we're excited to hear his stories and music. A biographical snipped on Justin LaBrash: Justin is proud of his roots and where he comes from. He believes strongly in building communities and “paying it forward”. Award-winning, Canadian country recording artist, Justin LaBrash, entertains audiences with a high energy live show. He has played over 500 shows, throughout Canada from Vancouver to St. John’s to the Northwest Territories and many points in between. With his country roots running deep, his big heart and endless energy, follow along to see where Justin's musical adventures take him next! Doors Open 1:30pm; Music starts 2:30pm

Ukrainian Heritage Cultural Village Celebration of Dance

May 20, 2024 --  The event is the first major event of the UCHV summer season and organizers said it would feature numerous dance groups of all ages from across the province.  The Celebration of Dance concert starts at 12:15 p.m. as the first of 10 different dance groups will take centre stage at the outdoor bandshell.  The groups include Dance Unlimited, Trembita Arts School, Camrose Veselka Ukrainian Dance Society, Lloydminster Malanka Dancers, Parkland Ukrainian Dancers Society, Verkhovyna Dunai Dancers, Viter Ukrainian Dancers, Vrozhay Ukrainian Dance Club and the Yatran Dance Academy. 

While enjoying the festival, visitors will also have a chance to step back in time and visit the traditional village, which will have costumed interpreters to explain the stories of the historic buildings and peoples.
