24th Annual Garlic Festival

It's the 24th Garlic Festival once again on October 12th! Start the day on Main Street Andrew, with the Lions Potato Pancake Breakfast from 8:00-11:00, and the Farmers' Market from 10:00-4:00. Enjoy a perogy dinner at the Rainbow Club from 11:30-1:30, but don't miss the parade at 1:00. The Andrew Community Centre has a line of for a fun filled family day. Admission is $5 per person (3 & under get in free) for the days events which include a rock climbing wall, bouncy house, pony rides, zorb balls, petting zoo, mechanical bull, FCSS craft centre, face painting, and more. There will be entertainment throughout the day, and then the whole family can enjoy a family supper and dance. The meal is prepared by Tom's catering, and features 'Two Bad Apples"! Lakeland Cross-Country Ski Club – Nordic Walk-Jog-Run

Come Nordic walk, jog or run the Westcove trails with us on October 12th, 19th, and 26th @ 1pm. Discover the new trails that have been added to the trail network before you can ski them! Bring your walking or ski poles if you have. Lori Sachko, Group Conditioning Instructor through Fitness Alberta and member of the LCCAC will be available to guide Nordic walkers. (Other members will also be available to act as guides).
