Leather Crafting Workshop
Métis Crossing will host a Leather Crafting Workshop on May 16, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Métis Crossing in Smoky Lake County, Alberta.
This hands-on workshop introduces participants to traditional leatherworking techniques used in Métis craftsmanship. Guided by experienced instructors, attendees will learn the basics of working with leather while creating small handcrafted items such as a bookmark, keychain, or wristband.
The workshop offers a practical introduction to traditional skills while providing a deeper appreciation for Métis artistry and culture.
