Canada Day in Cold Lake
Celebrate Canada Day lakeside at one of the Lakeland’s favourite summer destinations! The City of Cold Lake is inviting residents and visitors to Kinosoo Beach on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, for a full day of free family fun, entertainment, and patriotic celebrations.
The festivities kick off with the Canada Day Parade at 10:00 AM, followed by opening ceremonies featuring dignitaries, the national anthem, and a CF-18 flypast. Throughout the day, families can enjoy the festival grounds with bounce houses, face painting, sparkle tattoos, balloon twisting, vendor alley, and family entertainment.
The entertainment lineup includes:
• 11:45 AM – 12:45 PM: Dallas Arcand Hoop Dancing Show
• 1:00 PM – 1:30 PM: Hula Hoop Circus
• 2:15 PM – 3:00 PM: Mighty Quinn
• 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM: Les Bûcherons / The Lumberjacks
• 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM: Renée Malo
• 8:00 PM – 9:30 PM: The Northern Pikes
• 10:00 PM – 11:00 PM: RATTPAK
The beer gardens will be open from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and the evening will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display at 11:00 PM over Kinosoo Beach.
