Green Thumb’s Up Contest

The Green Thumb’s Up recognizes individuals, neighborhoods, farms and businesses that beautify St. Paul and area through their gardening and stewardship efforts. The Awards also raise awareness of the important role gardening and growing locally plays in our community and encourages others to participate. Winners of the Green Thumb’s Up may be showcased in our annual St. Paul and Area Garden Tour. The Green Thumb’s Up Garden Contest is a Community Garden Society of St. Paul initiative designed to encourage residents to garden and grow locally. Properties are nominated by the public and judged by a team of master gardeners the week of July 11th. Categories Include: – Best Business – Best Overall Yard (may be floral, vegetable or mixture of both) – Best Use of Space – Best under 12 Years of Age – Best over 75 Years of Age Nominate yourself or a Friend!!! 1.
