
Exploring Colour Theory
Exploring Colour Theory & Practice Using Acrylic Paint with Jann Semkow will be held February 10th 6 to 9 pm and February 11th 9 am to 4 pm. If you are feeling the urge to try your hand at painting but don’t know where to start, this course will help you. Will cover the basics of colour theory and some applications to help you feel confident. Vocabulary, colour mixing, the care of and kinds of tools one can employ will be addressed . Cost is $115 for Members and $125 for Non-Members. Jann Semko, the instructor, taught Visual Arts for almost 30 years with the Edmonton Catholic School District. During this time she was the Visual Art and Drama Consultant, for a number of years where she taught all aspects of the curriculum. She holds a Bachelor of Education Degree from the U of C majoring in painting and drawing in Secondary Art and a Diploma in Applied Art and Ceramics from ACA Calgary.
