Join Photographer Tanya Fontaine Porozni for mitosak – A Cree Inspired Fine Art Photography Fundraiser Tan`spi: Friday, February 21 – 5 to 9 pm Saturday, February 22 – 10 am to 5 pm Tan`te: St. Paul Visual Arts Centre 4613 53 Street – south of the swimming pool Tanehki: 1. to raise funds for the purchase & installation of hand controls for a wheelchair accessible vehicle 2. to celebrate the Cree language Awina: Everyone welcome – admission is free Following a trip to Italy in 2005, Tanya hosted her first exhibit & sale of photographic prints in 2008. She travelled to Nepal to photograph life over there & again put on an exhibit and sale here at home. This exhibit is different. The photography here is about her Cree language journey. This exhibit & sale are held in the spirit of love & kindness, proceeds will be used to help a friend. The theme of this exhibit is “mitosak” the Cree word for trees. Fine art photography will be framed & displayed in various mediums. Canvas prints, framed & laminated inmages, and art cards will be available for purchase. Stop by for a cup of tea, a visit and walk through the trees.
