Beaver Hills Biosphere Workshop – Planting Native Trees and Shrubs

If you live in the Beaver Hills Biosphere, your property is part of the distinct natural landscape that make the region special. Planting native trees and shrubs on your property plays an important role in supporting the ecosystems on this landscape.

Join us at this informative FREE workshop to learn about:

You’ll hear from keynote speaker, Tomas Sokolon and his colleagues from the Agroforestry and Woodlot Extension Society of Alberta (AWES) about how native tress and shrubs are a critical factor in supporting biodiversity and overall landscape ecology. You’ll also have an opportunity to ask questions and chat with our speakers and Biosphere staff after the presentation.
